Application of nuclear reactor fuel pressure component test equipment (Ultra high pressure zirconium pipe internal pressure closed end burst test system).

Ultra-high pressure zirconium tube internal pressure closed end burst test system is developed and designed, based on the performance test requirements of zirconium tubes for nuclear power. The pipe internal pressure burst test system is mainly used for the nuclear reactor fuel cladding zirconium alloy pipe closed end burst performance test to detect the strength of the zirconium pipe. For the ultra-high pressure servo system, deducing the mathematical model of the pressure control servo system, and applying fuzzy PID algorithm to control system loading the burst test to overcome the adverse effects of the nonlinearity of the system on the electro-hydraulic servo system. The simulation results and experimental results show that the ultra-high pressure system with fuzzy PID control has good control performance, the system meets the requirements of the ASTMB811-90 standard for the burst performance of the zirconium alloy nuclear fuel cladding tube closed end at room temperature and strain test of materials under internal pressure.

Zirconium alloy has a series of characteristics such as low density, high specific strength, corrosion resistance, excellent processing performance and low thermal neutron absorption cross section, it has been widely used in the nuclear industry. Its performance directly affects the safety and reliability of nuclear power plants. For the performance test, according to the requirements of ASTM B811-90, the internal pressure closed-end burst test of the zirconium tube is required, the burst pressure is between 100 and 150 MPa, the pressurization rate must be 13.8 ± 1. 4 MPa/min, the loading time is about 5 to 10 minutes and belongs to the ultra-high pressure system.
